Dimred Consulting & Management was founded by Warren Mc Dermid with over 30 years of experience leading premium client experience and operations at Investec Private Bank, Discovery Bank, Standard Bank Wealth & Investment, and Betway Africa (NYSE-listed).
Over that time, Warren has built service operations from the ground up, turned around underperforming teams, held full P&L accountability exceeding R100M, and led teams of 65+ across three countries. His work contributed to South Africa's #1-ranked private banking service in the 2024 Ask Afrika Orange Index.
He now brings that same caliber of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery to Dimred's clients, helping organisations build the service operations, leadership cultures, and client experiences that drive loyalty, retention, and growth.
The name comes from Dimensionality Reduction, taking something complex and noisy and reducing it to what genuinely matters. That's the core of how Dimred works: cutting through complexity, finding the signal, and turning it into strategy you can act on. It carries a second meaning: the founder's surname, "Mc Dermid," reversed.
